The news that CryptoLogic and Playboy are teaming up together for a new online casino came only one day after CryptoLogic declared a 71% increase in the quarterly cash dividend, now up to 12 cents a share.
“Our excellent results, progressive dividend records and positive business momentum are testaments to our disciplined business strategy and out commitment to enhancing shareholder value,” said CryptoLogic chief executive Lewis Rose.
“Our focus on geographic and product diversification has enabled us to capitalize on some of the most profitable gaming markets.” Rose continued.
CryptoLogic, the creator of games found on the best rated online casinos, has signed a three year deal with the adult magazine publisher Playboy. As part of the deal CryptoLogic will launch the Playboy brand online casino, as well as provide electronic cash management, customer support and marketing support.
According to Rose, “The new site will leverage the global reach of this major media brand outside of the US market.”
“If Playboy also launches a poker site in the future, we will be the exclusive provider for that site as well.”
Although current United States prohibition against online gambling limits Playboy’s national marketing abilities, the company plans to actively market their new brand of adult entertainment around the world.
Playboy, one of the largest and best known companies in the adult industry, publishes an adult magazine, and has a adult television channel. The company is best known for its legendary bunny symbol, that is found on clothing, hats, underwear, lingerie, jewelry and more. The well known company is planning to use the online casino to combine the two most popular types of adult entertainment found on the World Wide Web.
